Electrical power that comes from a company-owned generating plant. Increasingly, large enterprises are developing their own power sources as the demand for energy increases and the sources of supply decrease. In addition, the enterprise has greater control over the consistent quality of the power, which is critical for the efficient operation of huge datacenters.
