(Micrografx, Inc., Richardson, TX) A software company founded in 1982 by Paul and George Grayson that specialized in graphics software. With its award-winning Designer drawing program, which has been widely used by technical illustrators, Micrografx was the first company to bring the graphics tools commonly found on the Macintosh to the Windows platform. Providing full-featured and sophisticated graphics products, the company was acquired by Corel in late 2001. See Corel DESIGNER.
