managed solution

managed solution definition - computer

May refer to "managed services," in which computers and networks are monitored and maintained by a third party. It may also refer to a business solution that is entirely administered and maintained by the provider. For example, an application service provider (ASP) maintains the business software on its own computers and manages both the hardware and all software upgrades. It typically makes the application available to users via a Web browser. See managed services, ASP and MSP.
