LiveWire Professional
A DOS program introduced in 1987 from CableSoft, Inc., Ojai, CA, that is used for online analysis of the stock market by brokers and financial analysts. It accesses live data feeds, tracks individual securities and monitors portfolios. CableSoft's operations suffered after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and the company closed its doors in December 2001. The LiveWire software, however, remains supported by an update service. For more information, visit www.livewire-cablesoft.com. See also Netscape LiveWire.
