LiveMotion definition - computer

Earlier software from Adobe that was used to develop animated sequences and interface elements for Web sites. Running under Windows and Mac, LiveMotion supported the major sound formats and all popular Web graphics formats as well as Illustrator and native Photoshop (.PSD) files. Macromedia's Flash product edged out LiveMotion, and Adobe canceled it in 2003 after two major releases. Ironically, Adobe acquired Macromedia in 2005.
