jump page
A temporary or permanent Web page that is used to redirect the visitor elsewhere. Also called a "splash page," it may appear as a popup window to entice you to go to an e-commerce site, or it may be a full page that serves as an index to other sites. A jump page may also redirect the user to the new location of a Web page that has changed its address. See landing page.
