JNDI
(Java Naming and Directory Interface) A programming interface (API) from Sun for connecting Java programs to naming and directory services such as DNS, LDAP and NDS. The application is written to the JNDI API, and the directory drivers are written to the JNDI SPI (Service Provider Interface). JNDI is part of Sun's J2EE platform. See J2EE.
