A nickname for Apple's iPhone, so called because of the nearly religious fervor the phone has caused and the cult status it enjoys. Since it was dubbed the "Jesus phone" early on, articles about the phone occasionally include religious overtones such as "your prayers are answered, the Jesus phone is here" and the "second coming" referring to the second generation iPhone 3G.
