JavaStation

JavaStation definition - computer

A family of network computers from Sun that comply with the NC Reference Profile. Introduced with the same 100 MHz MicroSPARC CPU used in Sun's SPARC 4 and 5 workstations, JavaStations are expected to migrate to the Java chip. JavaStations can also run Windows applications on an NT server using software from Insignia Solutions or Citrix that turns NT into a timeshared central computer.
