JavaOS definition - computer

A Java operating system from Sun that requires minimal hardware requirements and is intended for network computers and embedded systems. It includes the Java Virtual Machine, which combined with the kernel, is written in the native machine language of the target CPU. Network and graphical user interface components are mostly written in Java.
