A scripting language from Sun for creating rich multimedia-based user interfaces in Java from desktops to handhelds. Introduced in 2007, JavaFX Script is the core of JavaFX, while JavaFX Mobile provides a Linux and Java-based platform for writing smartphone applications. See Java.
