Intercast definition - computer

An earlier technology from Intel for broadcasting HTML content via the vertical blanking interval (VBI) of a TV signal. Data were transmitted at a maximum of 10.5KBytes/sec in 10 of the 45 lines of the VBI. Requirements for the consumer were an Intercast TV board for the PC or set-top box for the TV. See TV board.
