HWID
(HardWare ID) Starting with the Windows XP Windows Product Activation (WPA) system, the HWID is a unique number generated when Windows is installed. It is derived from the current configuration of the hardware and is used to determine if this version of Windows has been moved to a different machine. See Windows Product Activation.
