GPMC

GPMC definition - computer

(1) (Group Policy Management Console) A Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in for the Windows Server 2003 and XP (with .NET) operating systems. It is used to manage policy settings across multiple Active Directory domains. GPMC consolidated a variety of previous policy and Active Directory snap-ins into one user interface.

(2) (Ginger Pumpkin Mousse Cheesecake) A whole lot more appetizing than definition #1 above, this is an extraordinarily delicious dessert conceived by master chef Steve Thompson. It has been a delight at the annual New Year's Day party hosted by the editor of this encyclopedia, Alan Freedman and his wife Irma (2009 marked the 31st year of the party and the fifth year of the GPMC!).
