FlowCharter definition - computer

A diagramming and BPM flowcharting program for Windows from the iGrafx division of Corel. Officially iGrafx Flowcharter and the successor to ABC FlowCharter, introduced in the mid-1990s by Micrografx, the program is used to create a variety of flowcharts, including network diagrams, organization charts and business processes. For business models, FlowCharter can validate the processes against the company's business rules. See diagramming program and BPM.

Using a palette of predefined shapes and arrows, this example from a very early version of FlowCharter was used to quickly create diagrams and organization charts. Flowcharting programs keep the lines connected to the boxes. (Screen shot courtesy of Micrografx, Inc.)
