floppy duplicator definition - computer

A device that makes copies of floppy disks and formats the media at the same time. Simple units contain two drives and require manual loading. Automated units have hoppers and stackers that can copy 50 or more diskettes without operator intervention. The most comprehensive machines can attach the diskette labels.
