Flip Disc definition - computer

A combination CD/DVD-Audio disc, which is a music CD that contains all the titles in the standard CD audio (CD-DA) format on one side and the higher-fidelity DVD-Audio format on the other. Flip Discs became available in 2004. A combination CD/SACD disc is also available (see Hybrid SACD). See DVD-Audio and SACD.
