F connector
A two-wire (signal and ground) coaxial cable connector used to connect antennas and set-top boxes to TVs, VCRs and DVDs. F connector cables typically carry analog NTSC TV signals, and the plug's socket is easily identified because it is threaded. Plugs come threaded and unthreaded, both of which fit the threaded socket. See A/V ports and plugs & sockets.
