eSuite definition - computer

A Java-based suite of applications from IBM, via its 1995 acquisition of Lotus, that includes word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and presentation graphics. It runs in any NC or PC that has a Java Virtual Machine. Formerly code named Kona, the individual executable programs are considerably smaller than counterpart applications in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based software.
