(Design Web Format) A highly compressed format for 2D and 3D drawings from Autodesk designed for distributing and viewing CAD drawings. Free software for creating DWF files from major CAD applications as well as viewing them is available from Autodesk (www.autodesk.com). DWF Composer lets designers mark up the drawings.
