DSVD
(Digital Simultaneous Voice and Data) An all-digital technology for concurrent voice and data (SVD) transmission over a single analog telephone line. The DSVD V.70 standard was approved by the ITU in 1996 and endorsed by leading chip, modem and computer companies, such as Intel, Motorola, Lucent and IBM. DSVD modems first became available in 1995.
