(3) (DigitalPaper) A line of document collaboration software from ePlus inc., Herndon, VA (www.eplus.com). Specializing in fast access and distribution of engineering drawings, blueprints and technical manuals to users, the DigitalPaper products offer numerous features, including converting high-resolution images to GIFs for collaborative viewing over the Web. A variety of CAD and other image formats are supported. DigitalPaper was developed by Digital Paper Corporation, which was acquired by ePlus in 2003.

(4) (DigitalPaper) The file format generated by the Common Ground document exchange software. See Common Ground.

(5) An input technology from Anoto AB, Lund, Sweden (www.anoto.com) that turns a paper form into a wireless transmission system. It uses regular paper imprinted with a dot grid that is almost invisible. The dot grid is coded so that when traced with an Anoto-enabled pen, the pen senses the unique dot pattern on this "digital paper" that is associated with a particular application. The pen transmits either ASCII text or the actual written images to a receiving device. The pen discharges regular ink so you can see what you mark or write.
