DBLIB definition - computer

(DataBase LIBrary) The native, low-level programming interface for Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server databases. In the Microsoft world, much of the interaction between applications and databases is programmed using high-level interfaces such as DAO, RDO and ADO. See CTLIB, ADO, RDO, DAO and high-level interface.
