Working with more than 70 relational and hierarchical database systems running under Unix or Windows NT/2000, DQbroker enables a single SQL statement from any query program on any platform to execute against any number of databases in the network.

The DQBroker software resides in each database server and maintains meta-data about all the other database servers in the network. The SQL call can be made from the client to any one of the DQbroker-supported databases in the network.
