CSID

CSID definition - computer

(1) (Call Subscriber ID) A data field in a fax transmission that identifies the calling party. It can be entered at the fax machine or via software for fax/modems. The CSID can be used by the receiving system to route faxes to the appropriate workgroups and individuals.

(2) (Character Set ID) The number of a particular character set.
