Chooser

Chooser definition - computer

An earlier Macintosh utility that was used to select a printer, file server or network device. Originally a desk accessory called "Choose Printer," and later an application in Mac OS System 7, Chooser was replaced in Mac OS X by network selection functions in Finder and printer selection in the Printer Setup utility. In Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), printer functions were incorporated in Print & Fax Preferences.
