Organized by Deutsche Messe, AG, Hannover, Germany, www.cebit.de, CeBIT is held annually in Hannover in March. In 2007, more than 6,000 exhibitors from around the world drew 480,000 attendees.

In 2003, CeBIT made its debut in the U.S. taking the June time slot previously occupied by TECHXNY/PC EXPO. There were 12,264 attendees and 362 exhibitors. Despite several attempts to make CeBIT America take hold, the U.S. venue was discontinued in 2005.
