CDG

CDG definition - computer

(CDMA Development Group, Costa Mesa, CA, www.cdg.org) A membership organization founded in 1995 that establishes market requirements for the 3GPP2 (CDMA) standards body and, due to convergence with LTE, to the 3GPP (GSM) as well. In 2009, CDG reported that the global CDMA subscriber base had grown to more than 460 million users, fueled in large part by the public's embrace of CDMA2000 (3G) technology. See CDMA2000 and CDMA.
