business card CD

business card CD definition - computer

An audio CD or CD-ROM that is cut into the shape of a business card after it is pressed by the manufacturer or recorded on a CD-R. Although variations of the full-size 120mm disc may be used, business card CDs are often cut from the smaller 80mm mini CD format, which fits into the slightly indented center circle in the drive tray. They also hold considerably less than a full-size disc, generally from 20 to 150MB, depending on shape. See custom-cut CD.
