bus mouse
A mouse that plugs into an expansion board in the PC. In the 1980s, most mice used a serial connection to the PC. Bus mice were occasionally used to free up a serial port for some other peripheral. The bus mouse connector looks like a PS/2 connector, but the pin configurations are different and not compatible. See mouse.
