A family of e-business applications from BroadVision, Inc., Redwood City, CA (www.broadvision.com) that provide the tools to develop a complete, commercial Web site. The suite of integrated and self-service applications includes BroadVision Process; Commerce; Content; and Portal, all of which can be client-customized.

Another notable Broadvision product is Quicksilver 2.0, acquired from Interleaf in 2000, and a well-known authoring tool that allows the creation of long, complex documents in multiple output formats. No re-tagging or reformatting of information is necessary for this instant Web publishing scenario. Broadvision was founded in 1993 and initially developed interactive TV applications.
