BPD file definition - computer

(1) (Binary Printer Description file) The binary version of a PostScript PPD file. PostScript converts PPD files into BPD files for quick reference and repeats the conversion when the PPD file changes. See PPD file.

(2) (Burn PerioD file) An optional file of times and dates for the FARSITE program that simulates forest fire growth. It is used to stop simulation during low activity. For information, visit http://farsite.org.
