Blaze Advisor

Blaze Advisor definition - computer

A system for adding rules-based processing into an application from Fair Isaac Corporation, Minneapolis, MN, (www.fairisaac.com). Blaze Advisor is a Java-based rules engine that enables Windows, Solaris and OS/390 applications to be more easily revised by making changes in the rules database rather than modifying the programming code. The system was originally developed by Blaze Software, and over two short years, ownership of the product line was sold to Brokat Technologies in 2000, HNC Software Inc. in 2001 and then to Fair Isaac in 2002.
