Bing

Bing definition - computer

A search engine from Microsoft that organizes results into logical categories based on the query. Rather than provide a list of Web page links as is common with search engines, Bing presents the actual data it deems pertinent that it gathers from multiple Web sites as well as from within the pages of Web sites. Introduced in June 2009 and called a "decision engine" by the company, Bing was developed to deliver more focused results for travel, health and shopping as well as for finding restaurants and other local services.
