Apple Tax

Apple Tax definition - computer

The premium users pay for a Mac versus a comparable Windows PC. Because there are more vendors creating Windows PCs and software, there is more competition, and Windows products tend to be less expensive than Mac equivalents. Mac proponents say the Apple Tax is well worth it, while Windows proponents disagree, especially in companies that use hundreds or thousands of computers.
