AIS definition - computer

(1) (Accounting Information System) The human and machine resources within an organization that are responsible for collecting and processing the daily transactions and preparing financial reports.

(2) (Adobe IntelliSelect) Software from Adobe that enables a printer to automatically detect the printer language being used (PostScript, PCL, HPGL) and to switch to that mode of operation.
