adaptive hypermedia
Customizing a link on a Web page based on the habits of the user. In classic hypermedia (classic hypertext), a link is a fixed address to a page or document. An adaptive hypermedia system tracks the browsing behavior of the user and can change the link to a different Web page or document that is more tailored to the user. See hypermedia and hypertext.
