ACCELL/SQL definition - computer

A fourth-generation language from Unify Corporation, Sacramento, CA (www.unify.com) that runs on Unix platforms and supports Oracle, Informix, Sybase and Unify databases. Introduced in 1985 as the Interactive Development System, it was the first database-independent 4GL for Unix. See Unify NXJ.
