29000 definition - computer

An earlier line of RISC-based microprocessors from AMD that were widely used in laser printers from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. The floating point unit (FPU) and other components of the "29K" CPUs were deployed in AMD's subsequent K5 line. See K5.
