24p definition - computer

(24 frames per second Progressive) Refers to the frame rate of movie film. Some video cameras are able to capture images at 24 fps as well as the common 30 fps, or more precisely 29.97 fps. HDTV sets also support 24p (see DTV). See 120 Hz.
