Well, not remembering exactly how the Profanity Filter works, I thought that you yourself had written "-s*ite". You see, that stupid Filter doesn’t allow the ending -s h i t a and similar, and you can’t write the name of Rembrandt’s famous "N.i.g.h.t.w.a.t.c.h" in a normal way because the Filter will think that you wrote a naughty word and will do its best to distort it.
There’s for example a p word for a normal daily body function, which is pefectly all right in for example all kinds of Swedish media (with the Swedish infinitive ending, it’s p i s s a) and probably can be used in every other language, but it is replaced in a way that doesn’t make sense at all to somebody who isn’t a native speaker of English.
And I’m as Swedish as can be, but I’m obsessed with languages. At 62, I still don’t know if I’m collecting languages or scripts.
