I’ve been trying to find a word that means “rude without realizing it”. I’ve been unable to find anything matching this, but I know there has to be a similar word.

Arrogant fits the bill for me. Most arrogant persons are rude, whether they realize it or not.

Are you calling him rude without realizing he is??? Or just trying to get his attention?

Some words don’t connote intentional rudeness, although they can be used to describe both and intentional or unintentional quality. Some that come to mind are:

abrupt, blunt, brusque, coarse, curt, short, surly.

These differ, I think, from words like disdainful, haughty, imperious, overbearing, and pushy—all of which suggest intent.

p.s. to Sleeper: saparris is a noun. The adjective form if saparrisesque.

How many adjectives (sappish, parrisitic,sapparissesque) do you need? How rude to be so arrogant and self - absorbed.

Don’t mock Javan: he’s in the Bible. (And if you need adjectives to describe yourself, you must not like the noun, so what can any person do about that? Nothing!)

You can’t describe yourself just by saying your name.

Why would I, or anyone for that matter, want to describe myself? Take me as I am or not? I don’t care, and won’t waste time attempting to give a description of myself anyone might or might not buy.
