A number of weeks, perhaps months ago, a word was sent as the word of the day, related to quarrelsome, but meaning one who keeps changing the rules of the argument, so as to never loose. Something very close to that meaning. I had kept the email, but my email client dumped all my emails…. 
So, if someone could point me the right way (a thesaurus hasn’t worked yet) I’d be grateful.
