If I say ” both ends of the rod are respectively connected with two two ropes”, does it mean there are two ropes totally or four ropes totally? I am quite confused about this. Thank you.
two two doesn’t make any sense.
respectively not needed as doesn’t add any meaning.
” both ends of the rod are connected by two ropes” - one rod; two ropes, each one is connected both ends of the rod
” both ends of the rod have two ropes connected ” - one rod; four ropes, two attached to one end of the rod and two to the other.
Is either of these what you are trying to say?
