I found some difficulties when study some English tests such as GRE test and I think some question relating to English words are very interesting; therefore I make a new post here and we can discuss.

The first question that I want to present here is one of those, can you tell me the answer, explaining why you chose that answer choice.

11. ELEGY : LAMENT
A. epic : idolize
B. comely : please
C. parody : ridicule
D. sonnet : court
E. tragedy : pity

In an elegy, one laments something.  So I suppose the closest analogy would be C: in a parody, one ridicules something.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?
