There is no way to say what in one means out of context. One is a pronoun referring back to something in a previous sentence.

For example:

“The blanket looked so warm and comfortable. I was wishing I was in one [a blanket] when I first saw my boy.”

I think this post could become very explicit if we are not careful, or do I just have a dirty mind? Do I need to get out of the gutter?
