Life is repetitive for most of us, driving some people crazy while making others feel comfortable and reassured.

I myself prefer having a bit of repetition in my life.

What part of your day would you happily leave out, if you could?

What part of your day would you be reluctant to leave out?

My worst part of my day is waking up. I love sleeping, and I hate waking up until I’m good and ready.

My favorite part of my day during the week is when I’m on this forum. In the weekend, socialising and what not takes priority over everything.

As I read your questions: The part of my day I would happily leave out if I could, is also waking up.  I love sleeping.  Once I’m up it is ok, but waking up and getting up and getting started is tough.

My favorite time of the day is anytime I spend with my pets.  My dog especially. I delight playing with her, walking her, taking her with me on errands and so forth.

Hey Guys,

For me it’s complete opposite: my favorite part of the day is waking up very early in the morning (doesn’t happen often, though (due to my evening shifts at work)). The worst - pretty much the work part. :-D

Glad to see I’m not the only one hating the act of waking up, because I personally detest it.

Oh, heck, I better say that too. One of my favorite parts of my day would be greeting my dog as he jumps in my bed every morning to get warm. I have an unusually close-bond with my dog—nothing innappropriate but definitely a friendship.

Hi there.

I knew there would be one or two who love waking up nice and early. I cannot understand it, but I’ve learned to accept since I was brought up with a brother who woke up early every morning.

Working is your least favorite part of your day…That’s a shame.

Until this year, I considered money to be of the utmost importantance with regard to a career path. However, lately I’ve been thinking that maybe enjoying the job is as important as money, or possibly more important.

If I hate waking up early every morning, then it makes sense for me to enjoy my work so I actually turn up on time!

The worst part of my day is waking up in the morning too. Considering that I have to get up by 3 in morning and start working at 4:45. But there are also good points of doing my morning routine like, I don’t experience the crowded public transportations and enjoy the trip going to the office. I can also have a cup of coffee at the earliest time.

My favorite part of the day is upon getting on seat and start working in the office since I have been doing that for a long time already so I am used to it.

Luck? I don’t know anything about luck. I’ve never banked on it, and I’m afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work—and realizing what is opportunity and what isn’t.

Well, that explains why you are on the site so early. You have to be at work.  I was wondering.

The only way I’ll get up at 3 is if I have a flight for a holiday overseas.

Many days that is just about when I am going to bed.  I love to stay up late.  Hate to get up early.

I second that!

I’m generally awake till at least 1.30. I get so much done at that time because no one can interrupt me. It is a very relaxing time, a time to think inwardly and reflect.

I would never sleep if I didn’t have to. Sleep is falling over at the end of the day.

Well we are polar opposites then. Do not try to convince me that sleeping is unnecessary. It is invaluable, soothing. I’m just about to head to sleep (3am), and I couldn’t be more excited.

Sleeping is a great thing to do.  If I did not “have” to sleep, I’d do it because I enjoy it so much.  Too many workaholics around.

Finally someone who appreciates a day!

I love daytime, but I also love sleep.  I love to stayup til the wee hours of the morning.  I have my telescope out, hunting stars.  Then to bed.
Daytimes: I love watching the monarch butterflies, e.g., getting ready to migrate the 3000 miles to Mexico.  They are all over my milkweed: their favorite food.
