I’m confused, and the dictionary hasn’t helped.
I always thought the word intrepid meant ‘brave,’ or ‘fearless’ so there is an intrepid traveller.
However, the T.V. along with people I’ve talked to, say an intrepid journey, not an intrepid traveller.
The dictionary agrees with my interpretation of the word and its use, but people I’ve asked appear certain that ‘intrepid traveller’ is incorrect.
Does anyone know for certain what intrepid means and how it is used?
