Discuss verdant here.

adjective

1) Green; covered with growing plants or grass; fresh, flourishing.

2) Green in knowledge; simple by inexperience; innocent; easily deceived or taken in; raw. (Colloquial or slang)

[Old French present participle of verdir = to wax green, from verd = green, from Latin viridem, accusative of viridis = green.]

Which gave the state of Vermont its name, the green mountains.  I always get the feeling of Lush meadows with this word. Beautiful.

Is that Kudzu?  So verdant, so pretty, you’re all so lucky to have it. Can’t read the sign, but it blurs the picture, it should go.

It makes us think someone is actually doing something. After a while, the kudzu covers up the signs, and they have to put up new ones.

Maybe they can learn something from kudzu, which is wild and uncontrollable, and apply it to Sandord,

that’s not governmental inaction.  That’s governmental action.  And mighty proud of it we should be, too!

After all, if they’re that effective at controlling kudzu, just think what will happen when they put their minds to something important, like, who’s governor…

And heaven know, health care!!!

Our city chief of police, on duty for 9 months, retired to take another job in Texas and took his 98,000 dollars in retirement with him. Asked if he thought it
might be unethical after only 9 months, replied, “No, why?”

By the way, is Sanford still governor?  Went to Europe with family to “bond”, and coming home she moved out to small mansion on some island, I hear.

Still governor. Says he will govern until he’s told to stop. I think that’s coming.
