Thank you! A~

According to Merriam Webster, all of the above !

It’s one of those recent words that everyone spells differently, with both versions equally capable of being rationalised:

medevac - medical evacuation

medivac - medical evacuation

Of the two, medevac makes more sense, and medevacked so that it doesn’t rhyme with ace (e.g. packed/paced)

If it’s short for medical evacuation, it can be medical evacuation or medical evacuation. Makes sense both ways.

However, to preserve the K sound in inflected forms, it should be medivacked, medivacking or medevacked, medevacking.

sort of like indexes, appendixes, appendices, indices, etc.
I medivacked the patient, and went to the crash site to medevac some more.

They should call it emergency hauling (e-haul).

OK. I’ll give you that one. My idea is for a Southern Salon called Fine Hair You.

I wish I could think of some.  Hair salons here have fantastic and clever names, Sheer Delight being one.

Yes, I’ve seen that one here. I’ll have to check the yellow pages.
